Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is an British Canadian actress. Most well-known for her role of Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she received nominations for five Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the most outstanding supporting actress. The character was reprised on two of the Sex and the City films (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2009). She was also known as the main actor on the film Police Academy Big Trouble In Little China Mannequin & Porky's. The following year, after appearing as a newcomer in Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most exciting category.
